The castle of
Borgomasino is found in the charming zone of the Canavese, an ancient
and rich land of glamour.
The first livings

and activity craftsmen. The west Canavese brags an ancient
industrialization in the textile areas, of the making of the steel and
of the warm-pressing. The zone eastern, that big manner corresponds to
the Eporediese, began the actual industrial development in the beginning
of the XX century, when the family Olivetti was based on the homonymous
mechanical industry, now specialized in the telecommunications. It is
the north area-west of the Province of Turin. It confines to north-west
with the Valley of Aosta, to east with the Province of Vercelli, to
south with the from turin belt. It has a surface of about 2.000 Km2,
278.000 inhabitants, beyond 120 communes.
The Canavese and
the Valley of Lanzo, rich lands of natural beauties and of story,
